Mt. Rigi

Face it. The number one reason you can to Switzerland is for the scenery. And when you are at Lucerne Switzerland, the one place to go to get plenty of opportunities for delightful vistas is Mt. Rigi, the 'Queen of the Mountains.'

Here you can get grand views of the famous Swiss Alps and understand what Thomas Gray really meant when he declared in 1739, upon seeing the Swiss Alps, that 'there are certain scenes that would awe an atheist into belief.'
