Things to do in Seattle
Are you trapped in Seattle without any inkling on what to do? Always it happens on those oft regular business trips that take you down this beaten path. In between corporate meeting you're just left to discover the city by yourself. If you find yourself cooped up in your rented rooms devouring cold pizzas by volume then perhaps you don't know this city well.
Seattle is the modern man's paradise. Living here is better than anywhere else around United States (statement is disputable of course). There are tons of things to do in Seattle, visiting the Space Needle, booking for an evening with the century-old Seattle Symphony Orchestra at Benaroya Hall, the Seattle Aquarium, the Seattle Underground, and the Woodland Park Zoo are among the most popular of them. But there are some others that are underappreciated, or simply just taken for granted but whose worth can equal if not surpass the best of them.
So travel to Seattle with me and together let's check on those Seattle attractions that didn't quite make it to the limelight. We'll be having an off-the-beaten track detour to check on those exceptional things to do in Seattle.
See the Seattle Symphony Orchestra perform at Benaroya Hall
With their first performance was at December 29, 1903, they're among the oldest American orchestra that has gained so much repute. Over 3,000 participants attend their seasonal performances that run from September to July on their home at the Benaroya Hall. Watching this ensemble perform should be a priority on your visit to Seattle. Guaranteed you'll be mesmerized by Gerard Schwarz as he displays the latest musical talents within the Seattle Symphony Orchestra. Highly recommended!
Shopping Pike Place Market
As opposed to ritzy department stores and fashionable boutique outlets, Pike Place Market offer… perhaps everything you can think of while presenting a distinct charm: convenience and practicality without a bit of conspicuosity. That's why Pike Place Market shoppers head over this venue in their jeans and sweats to shop and window-shop. Because Pike Placer Market is a convention of small scale vendors, unique shops, convenience stores, antique dealers, magazines and comic book retailers, greengrocers and fishmongers, it's almost a guarantee that you would find something new to you. So wear your most ragged pair of Levis and head for the marketplace.
Cycling Seattle
There is so much to see in Seattle and engaging such activity by car can do no justice. Why, because most of Seattle's charm isn't on those several worn out attractions but on its mundane streets. Have you seen the Lenin Statue at Fremont. You should as it has a considerable story behind it. Try biking over at Alki Beach Park at early mornings. There's so much scenic beauty to be enjoyed there.
Are you at loss for things to do in Seattle? Try these ones I've enjoyed.
